Frank Moore, a world-known shaman experimental performance artist, will conduct improvised passions of musicians, actors, dancers, and audience members in a laboratory setting to create altered realities of fusion beyond taboos.

Bring your passions and musical instruments and your senses of adventure and humor. Other than that, admission is free (but donations are encouraged).

HUF will host Japanese artist Haroshi for a special event at their LA HQ to celebrate the new HUF x Haroshi x DLX collaborative collection.  In addition to the new product, Haroshi will showcase his impressive sculptural aesthetic built on recycled skateboards with six new art pieces created for the event.

Roberts and Tilton Gallery present a solo exhibition of Gusmano Cesaretti’s celebrated photography.  Curator Aaron Rose has focused both on Cesaretti’s past and present work.  The photographer’s honest portrayal of East LA in the 70’s will fill the main gallery in the form twenty-four vintage prints.  His recent (2008) work in Colón, Panama focusing on the lives of impoverished children will be presented in the gallery’s project room.

Giant Robot will officially open its newly renovated GR2 space with ‘Printed Matter 10’  on Jan 14th., the latest iteration of their annual print group show. They will be transforming their general focus from retail to gallery with two new walls, the  two ‘new’ walls will be  pressed into service from the jump to hang prints the 40-plus participating artists. Check out the opening night and pick up some affordable art and peep out the new gallery.

Toy Art Gallery presents “WHAM BLAM BLAMO” by Blamo Toys. It’s always a cause to celebrate whenever these toy art pioneers hold a show, and this one is no exception! ‘Rather Unique’, Woodward Gallery seeks to present street art and graffiti  that is memorable, distinct and impactful.
